Week 3 of the What if...? feature. Start a comment conversation and leave your thoughts below!
What if you had 5 minutes to write out your best accomplishments?
This doesn't give you much time to plan. You need to start writing. Go with your gut reaction.
What % were "work" accomplishments vs. personal? Does what you have on paper accurately describe what is truly important to you?
If not, make a plan and get started today!

Your question is very good and is really much deeper then it appears on the surface. The question is not just about making a list of accomplishments but identifying where those accomplishemnents came from. Also, you added the word "best" in your question which then adds to the complexity by making each of us priortize the accomplishemnets that we had. So what were my best accomplishemnts..... I have two. First, I lived everyday the best that I could giving 150% at home at work and while training (triathlons and such). Second, my relationships grew even stronger with my family (Wife and 2 daughters) and my friends.

Couple of points on your comment Matt. First of all, you're right. Its very complex and by taking the time to read and "think" about it, the word best adds much to the task as well as the "what".
Its about the thought process one has to mentally go through to process this type of exercise. Adding the "5 minute" rule is just a way to jump start your mind.
Knowing you, your family and your accomplishments, you have much to rave about! 5 minutes would definately not be enough for this project for you!

I would say one of my greatest accomplishments is deepening my relationship with God over the past couple of years. It is something I let slip for many years and now regret. As far as work, some of my best accomplishments have been streamlining the work that I do. Many of my daily tasks used to take hours and now only take minutes. Gee, Todd... could it be that you have helped me find my passion? I love finding easier, faster, better ways to accomplish mundane tasks.... I will need to think about this a little further. Thanks!
