Word of the Week is gone and What If...? is its replacement. In the blog theme of "Thoughts", I will be posting "what if" questions each Monday.
I value your feedback, so email me any of your ideas or suggestions. I would like to have some "comment conversation", so click on comments below and fire away!
What if...you still saw the world through children's eyes?
Would you make different decisions? Would you do things differently at work? What would you stop doing? What would you start doing immediately?
I am fortunate to have 3 children, so this is easier for me to relate to each day. The difficulty is actually taking the experience out of the home and into the workday.
I definately would have more "fun" each day. I work hard to find the good in everyone and catch people doing things right, but there is so much more that could be done.
What about you?

Good question Todd.
If I still saw the world through a child’s eyes, I think I’d be braver and more creative, because I’m pretty sure that I would see way more possibilities than I do.
In one way we might think that a child’s world is narrower, for so much of their environment is determined by the family they happened to be born in, and therein lies the challenge (and greater responsibility) for all of us who are parents. However children don’t have the inhibitions and self-consciousness that we adults do, and they haven’t heard someone say “no, you can’t” as much as we have. So yes, simply said, I’d definitely see more, way more than I now do.
With these thoughts in mind, I’d best get on with it, don’t you think?

Rosa,
I have a feeling you will get on with it!
I'm sure your eyes are open much wider than many of your peers, but it is always good to remind yourself of what is possible.
Thank you Rosa!
Todd
