The world's first "all podcast" radio station

File this one under "the landscape is changing". Infinity Broadcasting announces the world's first all podcast radio station with KYCY in San Francisco.
Beginning May 16th, AM 1550/KYCY will become KYOU, where listeners will upload their podcasts to the station and the station will choose which one's will be broadcast.
- Could this be a testing ground for new radio talent? Yes.
- Will Adam Curry submit his Daily Source Code? Don't know.
- Will the station allow sponsors within the podcasts? Don't know, but that is interesting as podcast networks are forming
- How much revenue can the station generate? If there is ratings success, there will be lots of $'s involved. There could be lots of local revenue as well due to the niche marketing opportunities
Keep your eye on this one!

Looks like my prediction back in December ("Adam Curry replaces Howard Stern!") is coming to fruition, sort of...
Thanks Matt for the heads up!
**UPDATE**
Dave Slusher has some interesting points here for current podcasters. I think I hear Tom Cruise in the background on the phone with Rod Tidwell...good point Dave.
