Many of my wife's family live just north of New Orleans and we have heard that everyone is OK, but now the clean up after hurricane Katrina begins.
Not everyone has been so lucky. Our prayers are with you.

I know it is late, but only now hve I been able to catch up with the news, and I am shocked. Is this the world that we created? What are we leaving our children behind? Isn't it time to stop discussing whether or not we have a climate change and start doing something about it?

Andreas,
It sure seems like the help came late, but the amount of $'s, food, clothing and supplies that have been donated and collected seems to be pouring in.
They are no longer accepting clothes at Reunion Arena here in Dallas, where there are thousands.
Donate to the Red Cross and/or the Salvation Army. Let's help those that need it and worry about the blame later.
