I leave early Wednesday for New York. I have some business meetings in Manhattan, then it is full on New York City Marathon!
I began to get pretty fired up for this race yesterday. I think I have most of the logistics down (where to catch the bus for the start, location of hotel, what to pack, when I'm meeting Tara, Taylor, Ryan, etc.).
I plan on posting pictures on my Flickr account from the Expo and city starting Thursday.
My goal for the race? I have to admit if I don't break 3:30 (ave. 8 min. mile), I'll be disappointed. My PR is 3:35 from last year's White Rock Marathon. Boston qualifying time of 3:15 is out of reach with this race.
There are a bunch of resources about the race.

This will be a great trip because I have business, some hangout at Expo time, family time with Tara, Taylor and Ryan, see friends and of course, the race! New York is one of my all time favorite places to go and I'm not sure who is more excited, me, Tara or the kids!
